Nero - the Man VS the Myth

I became a bit of a fangirl of Thorsten Opper, curator of the exhibition Nero: the man behind the myth. My attempt to find out the truth behind the infamous Emperor failed entirely under his charm. I let the man wax lyrical defending the shady roman emperor. Was Nero really all that bad? Well, have a listen and… yes, yes he was… but not for the reasons you might think. Christopher Biggins’ portrayal is reeking with Christian and historical bias. The guy still murdered people tho. Not one to invite for tea.
