We’re starting off Series 2 with the magnificent Rob Delaney.
I decided to read Rob’s book “A Heart That Works'“ and wasn’t just moved by the heart-achingly vulnerable storytelling but also his writing itself is proper good. If you know anyone going through bereavement of losing a child, I’d get them this book right away.
Anyway, aside from stories of the opioid epidemic, bad weather and gangs of wild turkeys what most struck me about this episode was the genetic similarity between shaun and Rob. It is downright spooky. But that’s what you’d expect when the local industry is themed around Salem in Halloween.
Also, beans with pork fat in them? Yet to be convinced. They were VERY sweet.
